These terms govern your use of washdog.io, the pre-launch site for WashDog Inc.

The free launch list

Joining the email list reserves nothing and costs nothing. It signs you up to hear from us and to receive a discount code when our Kickstarter campaign goes live. Pricing, availability, and the launch date may change.

Reservations and deposits

Reserving a WashDog is separate from joining the list, and it does involve a payment. A reservation is a $10 deposit that holds one unit from the first production run. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

At launch, your $10 deposit is credited as $20 off the launch price, and you pay the remaining balance to complete your order. If you do not complete your order, your deposit stays refundable on the terms below.

Your deposit is fully refundable at any time before launch. Email steve@washdog.io and we return the full $10 to the card you paid with, typically within five business days. You do not need to give a reason.

If you would rather back the public Kickstarter campaign directly, we refund your deposit on the day you back it. If the launch is delayed indefinitely or cancelled, or if we are unable to produce the units reserved, we refund every deposit automatically without you having to ask.

A reservation is not a purchase, a pre-order, or a contract of sale. It reserves production priority only. Final pricing, specifications, and the launch date may change, and in every case your remedy is the refund described above.

The product

WashDog is a pre-production product under active development. Final specifications, appearance, and packaging may differ from anything shown on this site. WashDog is a helpful safeguard, not a guarantee against loss.
